Jodi Stern takes pilates online

Jodi Stern from jodisternpilates.com was recently featured in the Democrat & Chronicle. It was a great article about Jodi and her decision to take classes from her Pilates studio online.

In March, Stern introduced JodiSternPilates.com with more than 50 virtual classes and videos to help beginners and others learn pilates.

My Pilates Plus clients have given me ideas for virtual classes and have been very supportive. I think the feedback is really important because these are the people I’m targeting — people who are pregnant and on maternity leave, people who travel a lot, people who have homes in multiple places and can’t always get to a studio — so their feedback to me is very important

Jodi also had a press release that was recently picked up and featured on a billboard in Times Square. (Sidenote: it was pretty cool to see my website work on a billboard in NYC.)

Artful Soldier

Artful Soldier

When I first met Brian I knew pretty much immediately that we had to work together.

Brian was at a local gallery for a Veterans Business Council social mixer. He’d donated a number of his prints to be auctioned off that night to raise money for the organization. As a veteran himself, Brian is very active in veterans related organizations and causes. He donates his time, a percentage of the proceeds of his art print sales, and often the art pieces themselves to veterans’ charities. He’s also an active First Sergeant in the New York State National Guard, works full-time in Information Technology, and creates a prodigious amount of art. I don’t know how he does it all.

Luckily he’s made some time and Brian and I are working together to relaunch his website, ironart315.com. It should be ready to go in early August so please head over there now and provide your email address to get notified when it’s ready.
